New Projects
☎️ Stay Connected with Our New Ring Round Service
We're delighted to announce the launch of our new Ring Round Service, a pilot project designed to help people who are unable to leave their homes and, as a result, may be feeling isolated or disconnected from their community.
This valuable new initiative has been made possible thanks to funding from The Small Sparks Fund, and we'd like to extend our sincere thanks for their support in helping us develop this service.
Sometimes, a simple conversation can make all the difference. Our Ring Round Service will connect participants with one of our trained volunteers for a friendly telephone chat twice each week.
Whether you'd like to share stories, talk about your day, discuss your interests, or simply enjoy some regular company, our volunteers will be there to provide a listening ear and a warm conversation.
So, put the kettle on, make yourself a tea or coffee, get comfortable, and look forward to a familiar voice calling at the same time each week, arranged to suit you.
A Friendly Voice at the End of the Phone
The service is ideal for people who:
Find it difficult to leave their home
Are unable to attend activities at the Hub
Would benefit from regular social contact
Would like to feel more connected to their local community
Who Is It For?
If you would like to register your interest or learn more about the Ring Round Service, we'd love to hear from you.
