Our Staff

Karen Leighton Hub Manager

I joined Stone Community Hub as Manager in November 2024 bringing almost 24 years of experience in the charitable sector. I have a diverse professional background including roles as a children’s nurse, neonatal nurse, and primary school teacher.

Throughout my charitable sector career I have managed large care teams across southern Staffordshire, developed innovative dementia support services for individuals and their family Carers, established a respite centre in Wombourne, and created an advice line for family Carers. I later progressed to become Chief Operating Officer of a well-established charity.

I am passionate about helping people achieve positive change in their lives and I enjoy working collaboratively with partners who share the goal of supporting stronger, happier communities. I love the variety that each day at The Hub brings and I take great satisfaction in seeing people move forward and thrive.

Tracey Lindop Activities and Support Worker

I joined Stone Community Hub in June 2026 after spending four years in a caring role. Previously I had worked as a Primary School Teacher for twenty years and in the charity sector for ten years.

As Activities and Support Worker my role is to help clients to access our services, such as playing games, enjoying Craft Club, or providing a Foodbank parcel and ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported.

I spend time talking and helping clients to relax and enjoy the space to chat to others. I help clients to work out their problems and support referrals to other services and agencies. It is a very varied and rewarding role.

Kerry Hague Activities and Support Worker

I joined Stone Community Hub in March 2024 after a rewarding career of thirty years teaching children in the Early Years and Primary year groups in Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent.

As an Activities & Support Worker I run a cooking club once a week, it is a great opportunity for clients to get to know each other, have fun and learn some cooking and baking skills. I also encourage clients to access our extensive selection of games and activities. As a support worker I spend time with clients helping them to work out problems and next steps, including referrals when necessary.

My role is very varied, every day is different and it is always rewarding.

When not at the hub I love spending time with my family, including a beautiful Jack Russell/Staffy cross. So lots of walking and toys!
